Caleb Wholly Followed the Lord

Deuteronomy 1:34-36

God was not going to let all these doubters go into the promised land. But there were two men that he was going to let in, Joshua and Caleb. He says of Caleb that he “wholly followed the Lord”. Caleb was not perfect, I’m sure he had many struggles like any other man. The Bible does not tell us of his problems but of his faith. He believed God would fulfill His promise and let them have the land. And God translates Caleb’s faith as him wholly (totally, all out) following the Lord. Caleb did not have to be smart, strong, have the contacts or have the money, he just had to believe that God would come through like He said He would. It just takes faith to believe God will fulfill what He promises.
