Praise the Lord for His Protection!!!

We have a lot to be thankful for today! Last night my assistant pastor and another young man in our church took me and 2 other men to the bus station in Buenos Aires so we could leave for our trip up to Tucuman for a Family Conference where I will be preaching. After dropping the three of us off they were on their way back to La Plata on the interstate when a car pulled out in front of them and hit them, Jorge swerved to avoid him and hit a car on the side and our car flipped several times and finally landed upside down, totally destroyed. Jorge and Volo were both wearing their seatbelts and miraculously walked away with only scratches and bruises. Everything that was inside the car flew out the windows and people were helping gather up their wallets, cell phones and everything else. An ambulance arrived to pick up the “dead people” that they thought were inside our car. But when they got there they couldn’t believe that both of the men were fine. A police man picked up a business card that I had just made for our assistant pastor and asked, “Who’s Jorge Rodgriguez, assistant Pastor?” When Jorge stepped forward he said, “I know why you walked out of this mess alive — your God was with you!” The men were transported back to La Plata in the ambulance and the car was tolled back to our church. The people who have seen our car say it’s unbelievable that someone lived through that crash. I have yet to see it as we are still on our way up North. The man who caused the accident took off right away so we don’t know for sure if anyone’s insurance is going to cover our vehicle. We are just praising the Lord that He protected these 2 men from harm and that my family did not travel with me to the bus station. We don’t know why this has happened, but we are waiting on Him and praying that He will work this out to His good. Just a few hours before this happened the church bus was in an accident in La Plata after running into a semi that stopped too quickly in front of him. We did get his insurance information so it looks like that will be covered. Two accidents in one day is enough excitement for us! Just be praying that everything will work out with the insurance so we can get a new vehicle.
